Mabel V. Hopper (82) passed away at Aces Elder Care in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on September 25, 2011 of age-related causes. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at Forestvale Memorial Park in Oakridge, Oregon.
Mabel Viola Hopper of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, formerly of Dexter, Oakridge and Reedsport, who died Sept. 25.
She was born April 4, 1929, in Weiser, Idaho, to Ellis and Lillie Hancock Graham. She married Don Hopper on June 1, 1947, in Payette, Idaho. He died April 27, 1997.
She graduated from high school in Payette. She was a homemaker and worked as a rest home care provider.
Survivors include two daughters, Reta Summerlin of Naples, Idaho, and Leta Flagg of Springfield; a son, Ken of Oakridge; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A son, Earl Hopper, died previously.
