Betty Bernice Bell

Betty Bernice Bell, 82, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, passed away on November 4, 2011. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 1:00pm at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home with interment in the Grandview Cemetery. Betty was born in Monarch, Wyoming; on October 28, 1929 the second of six children born to Albina Legerski and George Jensik, Sr. She attended schools in Monarch and Sheridan, Wyoming. Betty and her family lived in Wyoming and Montana before settling in Bonners Ferry. She enjoyed traveling to see family, cooking, and gardening -- she loved flowers. Betty was preceded in death by husband’s Paul Zowada and Bill L. Bell; a daughter, Judy Zowada; two sisters, Mary Sweem and Rose Mary Legerski; and an older brother, George Jensik, Jr. She is survived by two sister, Wilma Meryhew of Caspar, Wyoming, and Margaret Boaz of Portland, Oregon; three sons, Larry Zowada of Ashland, Oregon, Gary Zowada of San Francisco, California, and Bill D. Bell of Winnemucca, Nevada; two daughters, Carol Lane and Donna Bell, both of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials can be made to the Boundary Community Hospital -Extended Care Facility.
