Linda Darlene Maggi

Linda Darlene Maggi (56) loving mother and wife passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 19, 2012. Private services will be held at a later date. Linda was born on October 8, 1955 to Clair and Lucille Marvel in The Dalles, Oregon. She graduated from The Dalles High School. Linda worked as a children’s day care worker. In 1992 she met Rick and they were married on July 24, 1993 and have resided in Bonners Ferry, Idaho since. On January 20, 1995 their daughter Amy was born. Since being married she has devoted her time to being a homemaker and taking care of her family. When Amy was in Kindergarten and grade school Linda volunteered at Evergreen school helping the students and teachers out. Linda’s absolute greatest pride and joy was Amy, and spending time with her and watching her grow in to an extra-ordinary young adult. Linda enjoyed life, spending time with her family, camping, hiking, gardening, traveling, beading and other crafts, as well as helping Rick and Amy grow their giant pumpkins. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her 2 wiener dogs, Shadow and Purdy. Survivors include numerous relatives including her husband Rick Maggi and daughter Amy of Bonners Ferry, ID; mother Lucille Marvel, The Dalles, OR; sisters Nancy Marvel and Diana Griener of the Dalles, OR Brothers Virgil and Everett Marvel of Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her father, Clair Marvel.
