Shirley Robbins

Shirley Robbins, (76) passed away peacefully with her daughter Sandy and grandson, Paul by her side knowing she was dearly loved by her family. A Memorial was held December 16, 2007 in celebration of her life. Shirley was born June 28, 1931 in Mason City Iowa to Morris and Bessie Garfin, where they ran their family grocery store. She married John Pearson in 1950 and had two daughters, Pamela and Sandra. In 1953 they moved to California following family from Iowa. Shirley lived in Santa Ana, California working for the Retail Clerks Union until retirement in 1991. She then moved to Bonners Ferry to make her home near her daughter Sandy and her five grandchildren, Paul, Joshua, Bonnibel, Han and Johnny. She enjoyed watching her family grow, cooking for them and attending school events. She loved her family unconditionally. Shirley enjoyed her life in Bonners Ferry and made friends easily. She will be missed greatly. And this is His commandment that we believe in the name of his son Jesus Christ and love each other. She is survived by her brothers: Herb, Moe, Milt and Norman Garfin; her grandchildren Paul Beggerly, Josh and Jamie Beggerly, Bonnibel and Noel Villaman, Han and John Beggerly and Jennifer and Mark Russo; her great grandchildren Ryan and Caleb Beggerly, Caitlin and Carlee Russo and her daughters Sandra Kay Beggerly and Pamela Sue Pearson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Edith Mock. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the ECF and to the Restorium for all the sweet care she received.
