Robert (Bob) Jurl Piper

Robert Jurl Piper (Bob) passed away quietly at Ace Elder Care in Bonners Ferry on Feb. 17, 2008.Bob was 77 years of age, he was born in Springfield Township, Michigan on May 16, 1930 to Robert Jurl Piper Sr. and Delphen (Lewis) Piper. Bob spent his working years living in Troy, Michigan where he worked for General Motors (Pontiac) until his retire¬ment in 1984. After retirement Bob moved to San Diego, Calif. where he met and married Jean Hays. Later Bob and Jean moved to Tampa, Florida where they lived until Feb. of 2007 at which time they moved to Bonners Ferry, Id. to be near Jean's family Bob was always known as a hard working and responsible man, who never shirked his duties to family and friends. He lived with integrity and dealt with life that way, he was always steadfast and true, and could always be relied upon. He will be missed. Bob is survived by his wife Jean Piper of Bonners Ferry, his brother Bruce Piper, his three daughters Barbara Morris, Beverly Hoslet Vrecenak, Brenda Marconi and their husbands, as well as six grand children and three great grand children; and the Beggerly family of Bonners Ferry. Rest in peace Bob, your suffering is over, we'll see you again.
