Carolyn T. James

Carolyn James, just shy of her 89th birthday, completed her earthly journey on Saturday, March 9, 2013, peacefully at home in the loving embrace of her second family, the Skrivseth's of Bonners Ferry. Carolyn's children and grandchildren were all able to say good-bye to her. Carolyn's children will always be indebted to Judy and Dayton, and their family and friends for the love and care they showered on their adopted "Grandma". A special thanks is sent to Bonner Community Hospice who helped see Carolyn through her final days. Carolyn is survived by many loved ones: Daughter: Carolyn and her husband, Richard, Son: Robert C James III, Daughter: Susan and her husband, Timothy, Grandchildren: Maxwell, Augustus, and Elisabeth Great-grandchildren: Odin, Lilly, Gabriel and Sophia, The Dayton Skrivseth Family Carolyn was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Robert C James Jr, who died in 1998. A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Kootenai Valley Mennonite Church in Bonners Ferry, followed by a gathering at the Skrivseth's. Mama ("Grandma") will be missed by all who loved her.
