Michael James Price

Michael (Mike) James Price (50) passed away at his home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on April 21, 2008. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Free Methodist Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with Pastor Lowell Carlson officiating. Internment will be in the Grandview Cemetery. Mike was born on January 19, 1958 at Iwa Kuni, Japan, he was the son of William Russell and Audrey Jean (Cox) Price. Mike moved to Bonners Ferry with his parents and sisters in 1965 where he lived until his death. Mike received his education in the schools of Bonners Ferry. On May 26, 1979 Mike married Jo Anna Paschal in Moyie Springs, Idaho and to this union three children were born. Mike worked at LP Mill and later Riley Creek from the 1988 till 2007 when he went to work for Dream Works where he worked until his death. Mike’s greatest joys in life were his family and friends. He loved the beauty of Boundary County and spent many weekends tramping through the woods looking for antlers and other treasures. There wasn’t an inch of Boundary County he hadn’t explored. Mike will always be remembered for his off beat sense of humor and his respect, love and caring for all of God’s Creatures. Mike is survived by his wife JoAnna, two sons Clinton and Jason Price of Spokane, WA, one daughter Tracey of Boise, ID, four grandchildren: Anthony, William, Anissa, and Andrew of Bonners Ferry, ID, seven sisters: Kathy (Bruce) Behrman, Cheri (Tom) Kellogg and Roby Fodge of Moyie Springs, ID, Karen Price of Bonners Ferry, ID. Susan Atchley and Chris Ymer of Spokane, WA, and Jeannette (Jeff) Parish of Rosalia, WA, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents William R. and Audrey J. Price. The family suggests that donations be made in Mike’s name to the local Boundary County charity of your choice.
