Sharon Grace Bennett

Sharon Grace Bennett died Saturday November 9, 2013 at Boundary Community Hospital at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Sharon was born on April 28, 1942 in Colville , Washington to Lindaette and Alfred Rail. On July 22, 1961 she married the love of her life Cleo Ray Bennett and together they had 4 sons. They chose Bonners Ferry as the place to build their home and raise their family. Sharon was loved by all who knew her, and she didn't know a stranger. Her house was always open to everyone, and over the years many kids passed thru her doors. From her children and their friends to her grandchildren and their friends. She was known as Grandma Sharon to everyone. She had a huge heart and was giving to all she knew. She made sure that everyone was taken care of whether they were family or not. Her family meant everything to her and she built her world around them. She volunteered at school in her children's classes and later on in her grandchildren's. She chauffeured many kids to sporting events and baked many cupcakes for bake sales over the years. She loved the outdoors and spent her summers camping and boating with her family. Her grandsons loved the summertime because they knew it meant swimming at Smokey Acres and camping with grandma. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Cleo, her parents, her brothers Edward and Leroy, and her sisters Freda, and Ann. She is survived by her children Ron (Jill) Bennett, Jeff Bennett, Doug (April) Bennett, and Jay (Stacy) Bennett. Her ten grandchildren Thad, Matt, Levi, AJ, Tyson, Reed, Connor, Garrett, Logan, and Kahliyah Bennett. Two Great grandchildren Amelia and Violet Bennett. Sisters Midge, Lois, Liz, Doris, and Judy. Brothers Richard and Bud, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be missed by all.
