Ronald Gene (Ike) Eisenhour (69) passed away at his home near Bonners Ferry, Idaho on June 3, 2008. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. Ike was born on January 13, 1939 in Okmulgee, OK to William and Vivian (Green) Eisenhour. The family moved to California where he later married Susan Walker and they had 4 children Dori, Gary, Alan, and Brian. Brian died as an infant. He was very active in little League and girls softball acting as coach for his children’s teams. He worked for the State of California for 30 years in various positions and retired early with a disability. In 1982 he married Diane Brougher and to this marriage two children were born Kyle and Cassie. Ronald and his family moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in June of 2005. Ike was a member of The Rod Benders and he served as president of the organization. He also did pin striping for 50 years. He was an avid hotrod enthusiast, he loved to fish; he cherished his dogs and loved the community whole-heartedly. He was proud of all of his children and their accomplishments in life. He is survived by his children Dori, Gary, Alan, Kyle, and Cassie; his wife Diane, Brother William; grandchildren Lindsay, Brandon and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his son Brian and Sister Wanda.
