Stanley Morie Battles

Stanley Morris Battles, 72 of Moyie Springs Idaho passed away on Wed March 5th 2014. He was born on June 12th 1941 to Clifford and Emma Battles in Des Moines Iowa. Stanley lived in several surrounding towns while growing up. He graduated from Mingo High School in 1959. Stanley worked for Wright tree service as well as Aspend tree service. In the last several years he was a produce buyer for several restaurants and businesses. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Emma and 1 sister Carolyn Frederick. He is survived by his brother Keith and (Mary) Battles of Crossville TN, sister Linda and (Jim) Buttrey of Rogers AR, brother in law Norman Frederick. He is also survived by his step sister Linda Kimball of Des Moines Iowa, step brother Larry and (Evelyn) Bowers of Colorado Springs, Colorado, step brother Fred and (Max) Bowers of Bondurant Iowa , step brother Dennis and (Sue) Bowers of Tacoma Washington. Stanley also leaves behind his daughter Shawna (Jake) Posselt and 2 grandchildren Cody and Madison Posselt of St.Maries Idaho. Stanley was loved by all of us and will be truly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mitchellville Iowa and interment will be held at Mitchellville cemetery.
