Terry Lee Mullin, 58, of Bonners Ferry, ID passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 25th 2014. Services were held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:ooam in the Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was born on September 23rd 1955 in Bonners Ferry, ID to the late LeRoy Richard Mullin and La Veral Irene (Bennett) Mullin. Terry was the first baby to be born at the current Boundary Community Hospital and was the second of four siblings. Terry graduated Bonners Ferry High School in 1973 and went on to truck driving school in Weiser, ID and drove grain truck on completion of school. At the age of 23 he began his career as a bus driver for the Boundary County School District and worked for them as a bus driver and mechanic for 33 years until his health forced him to retire in 2011. He also was a driving skills tester for over twelve years. On top of regular drivers licenses after retirement he took on the testing for CDL’s and motorcycles. Terry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish whenever he could with his buddies Orval Gentry and Charlie Denton. He also loved getting together every other Saturday to play poker with his friends and family. Terry loved his family. Especially all his nieces and nephews. He helped his sister Ronnie raise her two girls, Desi and Vannah. They were the light of his life along with their kids, Jordan and Cheyenne Nida and Kannon and Kayden Mckinley whom he thought of as his grandkids. Terry was preceded in death by both parents, his grandparents, several aunts and uncles and a brother-in-law. He is survived by three sisters, Sandi Hurst of Libby, MT, La Rene (Doug) Gatzke of Creston, BC and Rondallyn (Mike) Howe of Bonners Ferry, ID. Nieces, Angie Voegele of Libby, MT, Heidi Linnemeyer of Sandpoint, ID, Desiree’ Eggers of Bonners Ferry, ID, Savannah (Nathan) McKinley of Spokane, WA and Stacy (Rob) Mutch of Kelowna, BC. Nephews, Darrell (Maryanna) Voegele of Libby, MT and Brandon Hurst of Libby, MT and all of their children, his great nieces and nephews. Terry was a kind and gentle soul who always put others needs before his own, He was a great man, known to many and considered to be a truly “Gentle Giant”.
