Patricia Kathleen Belyea

Patricia Kathleen Belyea, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on October 14, 2008 from mesothelioma cancer. A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 7:30pm in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10:00am in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with interment following in the Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Patricia was born on November 28, 1949 in Spokane, WA to Ralph & Elizabeth Crandell. She attended St. Xavier Catholic Grade School & graduated from John Rogers High School. She married Clinton G. Belyea on June 22, 1968 in St. Xavier Catholic Church. Patricia & Clinton had three children, Dennis, John & Katherine. After raising her children, Patricia returned to school and graduated with honors in 1990 from Century Community College in Whitebear Lake, MN. She was quickly hired as secretary to the Minnesota Medical Association CFO in Minneapolis, MN. Patricia & Clinton retired in 1994, living near Conner, MT until 2001 when they moved near Eastport, ID. Patricia was active in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bonners Ferry, ID, participating in the choir, Altar Society and working as St. Ann’s secretary/bookkeeper. Patricia loved to sing & play the piano; she enjoyed reading, cross-country skiing, camping & walks in the woods. But, most of all she loved her family and her church. Patricia is survived by her husband, Clinton Belyea, son Dennis Belyea, daughter-in-law Nenita Belyea and grandchildren Mark, Daniel, Brian & David; son John Belyea, daughter-in-law Cecelia Belyea and grandchildren Thomas, Grace & Lucille; daughter Katherine Musitani, son-in-law Cesar Musitani, grandchildren Kyle & Clinton. Patricia is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth Jones; brothers Theodore Crandell, Michael Crandell, James Crandell, Christopher Crandell & Steven Crandell, sisters Cecelia Tawfeek & Lorie Zimmerman. Patricia is preceded in death by her father and sister Claudia.
