Rosaria Potter (82) passed away on October 28, 2008 at the Boundary County Nursing Home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with private interment in the Grandview Cemetery.
Rosaria was born on May 4, 1926 in San Martin, California to Mateo and Josephine (Messina) Pennisi. She attended schools in San Martin and Morgan Hill, California. After her graduation she assisted in the running of a farming operation, later in life she worked in the food processing industry and electronic industry in California. She married Mel Potter in 1977.
She lived in Gilroy, California, Hollister, California and Las Vegas, Nevada after retiring they moved to Montana, living on acreage in the Curley Creek/ Old Hwy 2 area for the last thirty years in the Troy, Montana area . She enjoyed knitting Afghans, reading and playing the piano.
She is survived by two sons Peter Garcia, Jr, of San Jose, CA and Raymond F. Garcia of Gilroy, CA; one sister Lucia Lomanto of Hollister, CA; five grandchildren, give great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Mel Potter and brother Sam Pennisi.
