LaRae Sonja King Bomar (39) passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2008 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Services will be Announced. LaRae was born in Haines, Alaska on November 7, 1969 to Ernest H. and Ruth Marie (Lefever) King. She was the last baby born in the old Haines Clinic. She attended Lake Stevens High School and Everett Washington Community College, where she earned her Associate’s Degree. LaRae married her longtime love, Russ Bomar, on June 24, 2000 in Marysville, Washington in a beautiful backyard ceremony. LaRae loved to cook and garden, but her greatest joy was her family. She had a terrific laugh and wonderful generous spirit. She will be missed beyond measure. She is survived by her loving husband Russ Bomar of Marysville, WA, daughter Katrina and sons Dalton and Travis. She is also survived by her father, Ernie King and wife Becky of Gustavus, Alaska and mother Ruth Lefever of Beijing, China. She is also survived by her sisters, Erin King Haida of Juneau, Alaska; Carrie Bolshakoff, Ketchikan, Alaska; Dawn Walker of Gustavus, Alaska brothers Allan Lefever of Marysville, Washington, Chris Walker of Martinsville, Indiana, grandparents, Hartley and Janice King of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and grandfather Ray Lefever, of Laurel, Montana, uncle Ray Lefever, of Arizona. LaRae was preceded in death by her grandmothers Myrtle King of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Laura Lefever of Phoenix, Arizona.
