Frank Williams, 82, passed away in Spokane, WA on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 3, 2009 in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery.
Frank was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, the son of Robert and Frances (Neumayer) Williams. He graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1944 where he enjoyed playing basketball for the Badgers. After graduation he joined the US Army, serving in the Pacific, at the close of WW II. He returned to the Bonners Ferry area and worked in the logging industry.
He married Annie Gibbs, in 1962, in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He continued working in the woods as a logger, truck driver, and equipment operator. He later operated his own loading equipment in Washington, Idaho, and Montana, retiring in 1990. He lived in Libby, MT; Bonners Ferry, ID; and Chattaroy, WA. He enjoyed his work, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by 9 children Michael, Barbara, Linda, Frances, Patricia, Barbara, George, Dee, and Jimmy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Berniece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Robert and Leonard, and his wife Annie.
