Larry Lee Richards

Larry Lee Richards (62) passed away at the Community Hospital ER in Bonners ferry, Idaho on January 16, 2008. a celebration of life and potluck gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2008 at 1:00pm at the family home, 188 Old Highway Two, Moyie Springs, Idaho. Private inurnment will be at a latter date. Larry L Richards was born December 15, 1946 in Bonners Ferry , Idaho to Oliver Richards and Betty (Washburn) Richards. He passed away on January 16, 2008 He went to grade school at the Northside grade school until he moved to the Washington with his mother after his parents divorced.. He graduated from Sultan High school in 1966. He married Marilee and out of this union they had 3 children, Ken, Karen, Kimberly. After his divorce he moved back to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He went to work for Davidson and Kelson as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He worked there until they closed the business. He then worked for several local companies as a welder and heavy equipment operator until he went to Alaska to work for 6 years. He then came home and worked at various companies as a equipment operator and truck driver until his retirement in December 2008 He married Debbie Baesemann on June 26, 1993. He loved to fish and hunt, do welding and woodworking, visiting with his friends He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Betty, his brother Jim. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his children and 3 grand children, brother John and wife Teri, Uncle Don and Aunt Beverly Washburn niece, nephews and numerous cousins.
