James Kevin McNally, born March 17, 1952, passed away peacefully at his home in Bonners Ferry, ID on December 10, 2016. There will be a small service at Mountain Springs Church on December 17 at 1:00pm witha no-host gathering at Mugsys from 2:00-4:00 pm.
Kevin was born in Moscow, Idaho to Harold & PJ (Patricia) McNally. They moved to Spokane,WA for a short time before taking up permanent residence in Bonners Ferry. Kevin attended school for all 12 years in Bonners Ferry, and 4 years at U of I.
Kevin was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his son, Ryan, Coeurd'Alene, ID and daughter, Tenley (Andrew) Rebon, Hagerman, ID and grand-children, Isabella & Bear. One stepson, Christopher (Michelle) Reiber & grandkids Sydney & Austin, Nanaimo, B.C., Canada. He has 2 brothers Steve (Patti) McNally, Port Gamble,WA and Keith (Lillian) McNally, Spokane,WA. Also 3 sisters Kathy (John) Curtis, Spokane,WA., Margaret (Robert) Routsalainen, Cheney, WA, and Patti (Rich) Ochsner, Missoula, MT. Numerous nephews & nieces of whom he was very proud. Also cousins whom he enjoyed spending time with.
Kevin was very proud of his children and loved them and his grandchildren.Kevin married Becky Tupper in 1976. They had a daughter, Tenley. After their separation, Kevin married Cathy Lowman and they had a son, Ryan. After a few years of the single life, Kevin married his current wife, Vicki( Snodgrass) Reiber in 2004. They resided on the McNally Ranch for those 14 years.
Kevin was employed by the State of Idaho as a senior log scaler for most of his working life. He enjoyed spending time at home, with all his friends and family. He liked to take drives around the county, grouse hunting or just sightseeing. Kevin was known as a very thoughtful, caring person. He took excellent care of his Mother and Aunt Sal in later years, and was caregiver to his wife, Vicki for the last 2 years of marriage. Kevin liked playing golf until he had to stop from medical issues. He enjoyed helping with the State scaling contest and the scholarship program with his Class of '70. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to our local Boundary County Restorium.
