James Clifford Sheppard

James C. Sheppard passed away at his home near Moyie Springs, Idaho on February 20, 2017. Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00am in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home with private interment in the Grandview Cemetery. James was born in Sacramento, Ca. to Paul and Ina Sheppard in 1933. Jim worked for Seattle City Light for 33 years as a Pole Hauler. He met and married the love of his life Lori in 1974 and his world changed. No more baseball bats and gloves! He helped raise his girls to be able to run chains for his tractor and stack wood. He survived when a tree decided to fight back. Jim and Lori moved to Bonners Ferry, where they found their Utopia on Maas Loop. A place they could feed the grand deer and he could put his favorite toys (tractors) to use. They worked together to make their new home a park-like setting where friends and family could come and instantly relax. Proceeded in death by his sisters Timmy, Bebe, Fern and Son Daniel. Survived by his loving wife Lori, daughters Yvette, Yvonne (husband Dave), Nicolette and Pebbles, Granddaughters Brittany and Stephanie.
