Sandra (Sandy) Jackson

Sandra (Sandy) Jackson (58) passed away at the Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on November 4, 2009. Services will be held in Texas at a later time. Services will be held in at the Communtiy Fellowship Church in Bonners Ferry at 1;30pm. on December 6, 2009. A time of fellowship will start at 12:30pm till 1:30pm. Sandra Jackson was born November 22, 1950 in Oxford, England to the parents of Margaret and Clive Smith. After completing high school, she went on to nursing school in Oxford. At this time, she met her husband who was stationed at Lakenheath AFB. They were betrothed shortly after meeting and Sandra moved to the US with her husband and became a US citizen. Sandra had a very adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling to different places and meeting different kinds of people. About a year and a half ago, Sandra moved to Northern Idaho, with a desire to live in a natural setting in the mountains. Shortly, thereafter, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sandra passed away from this world November 4, 2009 surrounded by well-wishers and her children. She is survived by her son and daughters, Jared, Haidee, and Kami Jackson. She is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Troy, Jaden, and Makaylin who all live in Austin, TX.
