Baptiste Andrew Aitken

Baptiste Andrew Aitken, 38, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024 at Coeur d’Alene Health of Cascadia. Baptiste was born on December 30, 1985 the son of Robert and Zoe Tate Aitken in Sandpoint, Idaho. He grew up in Bonners Ferry and attended the Bonners Ferry High School.
Baptiste was an accomplished artist, and liked to use pens to make his beautiful drawings. He enjoyed being outdoors snowboarding and four wheeling. Baptiste liked to share his musical talents with friends writing songs. He enjoyed collecting cars and customizing the sound systems.
Baptiste is survived by his daughter Ami Aitken, sister, Leah (Sven) Jaeger, brother, Joel Cherry, nieces, Audra Woods and Jocelyn Cherry, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death his parents, grandparents, Xavier Aitken and Amelia Trice, George Tate and Francis Tate, daughter, Baylee Mendenhall, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Kootenai Tribal Hall at 5:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 also at the Kootenai Tribal Hall at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Michael Mission Cemetery.
