Darnell Voegele

Darnell Voegele (70) passed March 27, 2020 at his home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Darnell was born on June 20, 1949 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1955 and then to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in 1959. He graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1967. After high school he worked one summer for the rail road. He then worked the rest of his life in mills in Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, and Moyie Springs, Idaho. He worked at Moyie Springs for 32 years and retired when he was 62. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3522 since 1992. Darnell loved fishing, bowling and camping with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Wilma Voegele. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Patty, three children by a previous marriage Angela Voegele, Darrell Voegele and wife Mary Ann and Heidi Voegele, 3 step children Wayne Hurst and wife Krista, Tonya Jefferson and husband Lawrence, and Mark Hurst and wife Corena, two sisters Peg Voegele and Pam Bryant, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. We love and miss you!
