David Eugene Garner (Gene, John), 79, Moyie Springs, Idaho, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 22, 2021 peacefully at home with his family. David was born in North Carolina to Robah and Julia Garner in 1941. He wandered the country and his boots led him to Goldendale, WA in 1973 where he met the love of his life, Diana, aka “Sunshine”. They were married April 13, 1973.

Ramblin John and Sunshine adventured around the US 19 times enjoying everything they could together. In the 80’s the girls came along, and John and Sunshine settled down. They moved to Moyie Springs and bought the land where they raised their kids and grandkids and lived to this day. David’s passion in life was old cars and trucks. He was always wheelin and dealin and dragging them home. David’s heart was as big as they come and he would give the shirt of his back to a stranger. He loved his Sunshine and his kids and grandkids more than everything.

David was preceded in death by Robah and Julia Garner, Jeanine Rose Garner, Joseph Daniel Webster, Timmothy Eugene Jones.
