Frances Jean Thoms
November 26, 1922 — December 22, 2021
On December 22, 2021 Frances Thoms left this earth to join her loved ones.
She was born in Copeland, Idaho on November 26, 1922 to Eliza and Frank Bear.
She attended grade school in Copeland and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1940.
She married the love of her life, Earl Thoms, on September 10, 1942. He worked for the Great Northern Railroad and they spent several years living at various places close to the railroad, at one time living in the depot. Their last years were spent in Bonners Ferry, where he was an agent at the depot. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, BCH Auxiliary and the Humane Society of the U.S.
She is survived by her sister, Lenore Hogan of Vancouver, WA, two nieces, Vikki Stokes of Phoenix, AZ, and Candice Chisholm of Vancouver, WA; two great nephews and two great-great nieces.
At her request there will be no services.
