Glea Joan Mead

Glea Joan Mead (90) passed away on November 26, 2020 at the Boundary County Nursing Home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Graveside services will be held on Friday December 4, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Porthill Cemetery, Joan was born on April 8, 1930 in Porthill, Idaho to Alfred and Ora (Huff) Baker. She grew up on the farm graduating from high school in Bonners ferry, Idaho. She met and married Clyde Mead they raised two sons Mitch and Mark. They moved back to Bonners Ferry where they purchased 80 acres at Smith Falls on the Westside Road about three miles from the Canadian boarder. Joan moved into the Extended Care Facility in October of 2013. Survivors include her son Mark Mead of Spokane, Washington, brother Alva Baker of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews.
