Harry W. Copley of Anaconda, Montana passed away due to complications of lung cancer on December 25, 2018. There will be a family Memorial for him at a later date. Harry was born January 2, 1942 in Sandpoint, Idaho the son of Leo and Hazel Copley. Harry attended high school in Sandpoint until he was 18 and then joined the U.S. Navy. He was stations on the USS Frontier where he was a cook and a baker. After serving four years in the Navy Harry pursued a career in the food business and spent many years cooking and baking in Idaho, Utah and Montana. He was the chef at Deep Creek, Idaho for three years near Naples and earlier worked as a baker for Wonder Bread Bakery in Ogden, Utah. Harry’s passion in life was fishing and his brothers would jokingly say Harry could catch a fish in a mud puddle. He also loved hunting and being outdoors. Harry was preceded in death by his wife Darlene and his Son Richard Copley and Brother Doug Copley. He is survived by his daughter Karen Wilson of Ogdon, Utah and two grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a brother Larry Copley and sister Linda Hayes both of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and a brother Dennis Copley of Centerville, WA.
