Our Beginnings

Bonners Ferry Funeral Home is proud to be a local, family-owned business. It has gone through many name changes since its establishment in 1921, with a rich, 100-year history of serving the community.

Chad Workman, the current owner, moved to Bonners Ferry and assumed ownership of the funeral home in July of 2021. Previous owners include the Crouch family, the Whitney family, Margaret Sullivan, Chuck Malone, Keith Jensen, and, most recently, Mick Mellet.



As the funeral home has evolved and grown, it has carried on the tradition of offering the finest funeral services to families of Boundary County, and that tradition will continue to be followed in the years to come.
